Medzi ďalšie ukážky výrobkov našich členov patria šaty a kaftan od našej členky Pandory.
Šaty sú vyrobené z vlny a ozdobené výšivkou s motívmi zvierat z tapisérie z Bayeux, ktorá bola vytvorená po roku 1070. Pre túto tapisériu bol typický “bayeux stitch”(steh), ktory bol použitý aj pri výrobe tohto odevu. Lemy sú ďalej doplnené rastlinnými vzormi, ktoré boli používané počas celého stredoveku.
Nakoľko Pandora reprezentuje ženu, ktorá už nejaký čas žije v Antiochijskom kniežactve, má na šatách ešte jednu vrstvu a to tureckými odevmi inšpirovaný kaftan. Ten je rovnako vlnený, ozdobený karetkou a doplnený lemami z lasičky a jazveca.
Kaftan sa zapína na vlastnoručne vyrobené mosadzné háčiky, ktorých používanie je datované aj na nami sledované obdobie.

This is another beautiful example of a costume made by Pandora, member of our group.
The dress is made of wool and decorated with embroidery with animal motifs from Bayeaux tapisery witch was sewed in 1070. Usage of Bayeux stitch is typical for the tapisery. The same stitching technique was used for this dress. Linings are decorated with plant motifs which were quite popular in the Middle Ages as well.
Since Pandora represents a woman, who has been living in the Principality of Antioch for a certain time, she has also another layer of clothing – a turkish kaftan.
It is made of wool, decorated with woolen laces, badger and weasel fur.
Hand-made brass clothing hooks can be found on the kaftan as well.
